Dobrev's Dairy Store

Dobrev's dairy was established in 1994 in the picturesque village of Dragostinovo up in the Rila Mountain. The company works with only the best farmers in the area, those whose animals are kept and fed so as to give the high quality milk, which Dobrev use for their produce. The dairy is well equipped with all modern technology and the milk they work with comes from sheep, cows and buffalos.

All their products you can find on sale at Dobrev's Dairy Store in the center of Sofia. Alongside the traditional salamureno (brined) cheese and kashkaval (yellow cheese), the shop offers a good variety of Italian style cheeses, smoked and processed cheeses, rolls and pates, milk and butter. You can choose between the local curd and the Italian ricotta, try the delicious mozzarella, the fresh and smoked cheeses, taste the 'shopsko' - a popular local savoury cheese spread and more.

There is an extensive list of wines on sale at Dobrev's to compliment the cheeses. There are local wines and imported wines, mainly from Chile, France and Austria. Generally, you can find wine to go with any cheese you choose, ask the staff for assistance if you are not sure if red or rose will be better.
