Under the dome of the northern wing of Sofia University is situated a museum that throws light into the darkness of the distant geological ages. The Museum houses in its collection and exposition more than 200 000 fossil specimens, rock samples, and geological maps of Bulgaria and the neighboring territories. The central place, directly opposite the entrance, is assigned to the pride of paleontologists - the restored skeleton of the genus Deinotherium (Deinotherium thraciensis Nikolov). The imposing skeleton (7 m long and 4.20 m high), built of authentically preserved bones (more than 90%). After payment, a link with access to audio files will be sent to your email. On the day you choose to visit the museum, the link will become active and will be valid for 24 hours. You will listen to audio recordings through your phone. You will need mobile internet.
